JOIN USVinodh S and Lal Sachin slammed fifties while Bharath Kondaji bagged three wickets as Herons Cricket Club registered a narrow ten-run victory over Bangalore United CC in the KSCA T20 tournament here.
Batting first, Herons rode on Vinodh’s 65 and Lal Sachin’s unbeaten 67 to post 170 for five.
Cameos from Nagendra Patil (34) and KC Avinash (38) then took Bangalore United close to the target but they were eventually restricted for 160 for nine.
With figures of three for 23, Kondaji was the most successful bowler for Herons while Dhanush B chipped in with two for 39.
