A poignant moment

CMR National PU College, HRBR Layout recently held their Graduation Day at the premises of the institution. It was an occasion when the college bid adieu to their students. As many as 550 students, from Science and Commerce put together, graduated this year.

The event saw the unfurling of the college anthem. The idea of the anthem was entirely conceived, composed and executed by the students themselves. The college magazine ‘The Herald 2017’, a compilation of the students’ creativity, talent and events of the year gone by, was also released at the event. The highlight of the evening was the aspirations of each student being read out on stage.

The chief guest of the evening was M Jayasankaran, professor emeritus, CMR University. He elucidated on the four must-have attributes that centennials must possess. Being joyous, learning to be satisfied, having a deep sense of gratitude and a heart that is always humble in order to succeed in life.

The evening ended on a very pleasant note with the students cherishing memories of the well spent years of posterity.
