A sales executive of a jewellery outlet of Commercial Street made away with four necklaces worth Rs16 lakh.
The police said Thimmesh worked at the SVR Swarna Mahal. On January 23, his boss asked him to take the four necklaces to their outlet in Jayanagar. Thimmesh left the Commercial Street branch but did not turn up at the Jayanagar branch.
After all efforts by the management to trace him failed, they lodged a complaint with the Commercial Street police.
The police, who are on the lookout for Thimmesh, said he has switched off his mobile phone.
