Advocates oppose education Bill

Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC) has given a call to protest the proposed National Education Bill and Foreign Education Provision Bill.

The Council, in its release said that NEB provides for setting up standards, syllabi and recognition for all higher education after PU with the exception of Agriculture and Medicine courses and the All India Bar Council (AIBC) will be deprived of such functions which it had been performing all these years. The release said the FEPB, which enables setting up Foreign law universities will curtail the powers of the AIBC.
