DCC solves wage revision dispute

On May 30, employees brought the then president of Employees Association H H Devaraj down from the post and made Krishnaiah ascend to the same post. Krishnaiah kept forth a proposal for wage revision in front of the Bank Administrative Board and a day long discussion was held on the proposal. The proposal was approved by the Board and called upon the employees to work for the progress of the bank.

Due to the revision, the bank will have an additional expense of Rs 2.10 crore. “Despite the expenditure, we will not back out from the revision because we care for our employees,” said Bank President S L Bhojegowda. During the Bank employees’ emergency meet held on Tuesday evening, DCC Bank Director S L Dharmegowda said that the bank has progressed due to the farmers and hence it is the responsibility of the bank to safeguard the interest of the farmers.

He said that the employees, who have developed emotional bonding with the bank are the lifeline of the bank and he called upon the employees not to support or stand by corrupt people.

He said that despite DCC bank being very clean in its undertaking, attempts have been made to defame the bank and to supersede the administrative board. He opined that any sort of internal differences must be sorted out between the board and the employees through dialogues.
