KSRTC to run special buses for Shivarathri

The KSRTC will operate 450 additional buses on intra and interstate routes on Thursday and Friday to clear the rush during Maha Shivarathri.

The special buses will return to Bengaluru on Sunday. The special buses will run from various departure points in the city.

The buses to Dharmastala, Kukke Subrahmanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Pavagad, Hosadurga and other places will operate from Kempegowda Bus Station.

The buses to Mysuru, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar and Madikeri operate from Mysuru Road Bus Station while those bound for Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and other places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will leave from Shanthinagar Bus Stand.

Special buses with advance reservation will be operated from Vijayanagar, JP Nagar, Jayanagar 4th Block and 9th Block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang (Rajajinagar), Malleswaram 18th Cross, and Kengeri Satellite Town.   
 
Buses to Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar will be operated from Mysuru Road Bus Station.

Buses to North East Karnataka having advance reservation will be operated from Sri Basaweshwara Bus Station (Peenya). Buses without advance reservation will be operated from Kempegowda Bus Station.
