Molestation victim fails to turn up for identification parade

The Kammanahalli police are trying their best to get the molestation victim to identify the suspects at identification parade in the presence of an inquest official.

The police tried to organise the identification parade on more than four occasions, but the victim refrained from attending them, citing various excuses. The victim is yet to identify the suspects Aiyappa, Lenin, Sudesh and Somashekar, James and George alias Paapi, all residents of Kammanahalli.

The city police had arranged for one more identification parade on Tuesday, which would be the last one. But the victim is again unavailable and not reachable. The police, who also went to the address that she had provided during filing of complaint, learned that she did not live there in Mizoram. According to senior police officers, if the victim does not turn up for identification parade, the suspects may obtain bail without much difficulty.
