JOIN USII PUC students were relieved a lot on Monday as the Chemistry examination got over without a hitch. In 2016, students had to take the Chemistry examination thrice as the paper was leaked twice.
Santosh K, who took the exam at Government Boys’ PU College, Malleswaram, was nervous on Monday morning. “My sister took the exam last year and I had seen how stressed she was because of the leaks. I was a little tense because of that,” he said.
Students said the paper was good and not too difficult. “A few questions were tricky. But the rest of the paper was good, there was nothing outside the syllabus,” said Krupa Krishnamurthy, a student at Chaitanya PU College. She had been stressed before the exam, but only because of the amount of study material she had to complete revising, she added.
A student in Kalaburagi was debarred for malpractice. Aside from the paper leak scare last week, when a lecturer circulated pictures of the Accountancy question paper on WhatsApp, the conduct of the II PUC examinations has been smooth so far.
