Health dept to suspend 181 absentee workers

 The department of health and family welfare has taken action to suspend 181 Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ workers for unauthorised absenteeism.

The decision was taken after these workers did not respond to notifications issued by the government to report to duty on time. The department had listed 210 Group C and D workers who were on unauthorised leave. Of the ones who were served notices, 21 have said that they would report to work before the last date as mentioned by the department and have asked for postings. Four others have sought time to join work.
