Khaitan denied permission to travel abroad

A special court on Monday refused to give permission to Loop Telecom’s I P Khaitan and his wife Kiran Khaitan to go abroad.

The NRI couple has been facing trial in the Essar-Loop case, an off shoot of the 2G spectrum scam. Rejecting their plea for grant of permission to travel to Dubai for various reasons Special CBI Judge O P Saini said the judgement in the case “can be expected in a short period of time.”
