They suspected role of BJP leaders in enrolling those names and demanded the Election Commission take measures for fair conduct of the elections.

Kamakshipalya ward (101), JD(S) candidate R Jaikumar Gowda  in his complaint to the State Election Commission alleged that the names of hundreds of fake voters had been included in the list belonged to part four in Kamakshipalya ward. He alleged the names bearing voters’ identity card numbers between 501 and 620 have been shown enrolled in the same address.

Congress MLA Narendra Babu, in a press conference, said that according to the voters’ list 120 people live in one house. “When we visited the house there were only four people. This shows that they have managed to enroll bogus names to rig the polls”, he alleged.
