Traffic, parking arrangements for IPL match today

Traffic curbs have been imposed around M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday in view of the IPL match.

Parking is banned on the following stretches between 10 am and 8.30 pm: Both sides of Queen’s Road between CTO Circle and Queen’s Circle; both sides of Mahatma Gandhi Road between Anil Kumble Circle and Queen’s Circle; Link Road between Mahatma Gandhi Road and Cubbon Road; Raj Bhavan Road, T Chowdiah Road and Race Course Road; both adjoining roads of the stadium; both sides on Central Street; between BRV Circle and Dickenson Road Junction; Kamaraj Road and Dickenson Road Junction; SBI Circle and Asirvatham Circle; Mahatma Gandhi Road and Madras Bank Road up to Residency Road; Queen’s Circle and Hudson Circle; between Siddalingaiah Circle and Raja Rammohun Roy Circle; inside Cubbon Park on King's Road, in front of Press Club, Bal Bhavan and Fountain Road; from Queen’s Circle till Grant Road Junction on Lavelle Road and from Siddalingaiah Circle till Bishop Cotton Girls’ School on Vittal Mallya Road.

Parking facility will be provided at the following locations between 10 am and 8.30 pm: Vehicles can be parked at St Joseph’s Indian High School grounds, UB City and first floor of Shivajinagar bus stand.

Those with VVIP passes can park their vehicles at the pay-and-park facility in UB City. KSCA members can park vehicles at St Mark’s Cathedral and Bowring Institute.

Those deputed for security duty can park their vehicles in front of KGID building.BMTC will operate extra buses from different places in the city to Chinnaswamy Stadium. The spectators have been requested to use the bus service and Metro to reach the stadium instead of private vehicles to avoid congestion.

Three entry points can be used to enter the stadium: Pedestrians and spectators can enter the stadium from gate numbers 1 to 6 on Cubbon Road.

Those entering the stadium from Anil Kumble Circle can use gate numbers 7 to 11 on Link Road. Pedestrians and audience may also use gate numbers 12 to 2 on Queen’s Road.
