It was a special occasion for many Bengalureans as Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli joined in the first year anniversary celebrations of Smaaash Bengaluru at 1 MG Mall recently.

The gaming and entertainment centre was bubbling with activities and there were interesting games organised for the public. The cricketer was excited to talk about his association with the brand and the gaming experience at his favourite haunt in the city.

“I frequent this arena whenever I'm in Bengaluru. My favourite games are ‘Walk The Plank’, ‘Finger Roaster’s and ‘Super Keeper’,” he said.

About playing with cricketers, who he faces on the pitch, in a virtual format, Virat said that it was the most luring part of the space. “Practising cricket at different levels with your favourite bowler is a dream come true for many. It's a very close-to-life experience and is a very innovative concept that Smaaash has brought out,” said the cricketer.

Vouching that the space is perfect for one to come with friends and family and spend a couple of hours at, Virat said that entertainment and physical activity came together here.

He added, “This is a great space to celebrate a birthday or any special occasion as it brings together sports, virtual reality, music and dining at one space. The arena could also be a great option for a  weekend.”

The captain said that from passionate upcoming cricketers to professional players, anyone could enjoy the various games at the centre.
