The owner of a Rajasthan-based advertising agency on Tuesday surrendered before an Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) court in Jaipur in connection with a multicrore government advertisement scam.

Ajay Chopra of Crayons surrendered following a Supreme Court directive.

An additional superintendent of police of ACB told DH, “The Supreme Court on April 15 had rejected the interim bail application of Chopra and asked him to surrender in 15 days. Chopra surrendered before ACB Court No 1, against all four cases lodged against him. However, the ACB on Tuesday arrested him in connection with case number 408/14, in which he reportedly failed to telecast government advertisements on 156 television channels.”
