Nirani said the Government has decided to sign a memorandum of understanding with these companies on the sidelines of the proposed Global Investors’ Meet scheduled to be held in June in Bangalore.<br /><br />Talks with Posco<br /><br />The State government will hold the second round of talks with Korean steel giant Posco in Seoul on April 5 to finalise its proposed plan to set up a steel plant at a cost of Rs 32,000 crore in the State, Nirani said. <br /><br />A seven-member delegation led by the Minister will leave for Seoul. Posco has evinced interest in establishing a six-million tonnes per annum steel plant. The delegation also has plans to tour Singapore on April 7 to hold road shows, showcasing investment opportunities to the prospective investors, ahead of the Global Investors meet, he added.</p>
