<p>The KSRTC is collaborating with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation to operate package tours from Bengaluru to Tirupati-Tirumala.<br /><br />Both the corporations signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday to begin the package tour from May 12. The KSRTC has plans to introduce package tours to other tourist and pilgrimage centres.<br /><br />The package tour includes travel by Airavat multi-axle bus, breakfast, lunch, ‘shigra darshan’ at Tirumala and transit between Tirupati-Tirumala. The tour will start from Bengaluru at 10 pm and the return journey begins same time next day. </p>.<p><br />The weekday fare is fixed at Rs 2,000 while those opting to travel on weekends have to shell out Rs 2,500. <br /><br />Weekend fares are applicable for departures from Bengaluru on Friday and Saturday. Commuters can book tickets online or through KSRTC’s authorised counters.<br /><br /></p>
