HUDCO IPO oversubscribed 79 times

The initial public offering of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has been subscribed over 79 times on the final day of the issue.

As per data available, the IPO received bids for 1,621.62 crore shares amounting to over Rs 97,148 crore, against the issue size of Rs 1,209.57 crore (20.4 crore shares). 
As far as subscription for various categories are concerned, the qualified institutional bidder (QIB) portion was subscribed 55.45 times, while the non-institutional investor (NII) portion was subscribed a whopping 330.36 times. The retail portion was subscribed 10.6 times, while the employee portion was subscribed 0.74 times.

HUDCO had set a price band of Rs 56 to Rs 60 per share for its IPO which opened on May 8, 2017.
