Rajasthan Board results: Pass percentage for government schools is 93.09 percent

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) declared the results of Class 12 (XII) or Senior Secondary Exams 2017 on Monday for Science and Commerce streams.

The result was declared around 12.15pm in Ajmer by Rajasthan’s School Education minister Vasudev Devnani. Nearly 2.34 lakh students appeared for the class 12 board exams in science stream and 48,113 candidates appeared for class 12 board exams in commerce stream.

Devnani told reporters, "The result this year is a day ahead than last year when the result was declared on May 16.  Around 17% students have scored more than 75% in the science stream, while nearly 7% students in commerce have scored above 75%. The pass percentage for government schools stands over 93% and about 11% students from these schools have scored first division"

The pass percentage for government schools is 93.09 per cent. 11 per cent candidates from government schools have scored first division, i.e. 5332 candidates have been placed in the first division this year.  The result for Arts and Humanities courses will be declared in coming week, sources at RBSE said.
