Parvathamma to be on ventilator for some more time

Kannada film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar, who is being treated at M S Ramaiah Memorial Hospital for multiple organ complications, is likely to be on assisted ventilation for some more time as she continues to be critical.

“She is stable, but remains critical as she is on ventilator,” said Dr Naresh Shetty, president, M S Ramaiah Memorial Hospital.
“Parvathamma’s breathing efforts are not enough to get her out of the ventilation and she may have to be in the ICU for some more time,” he said.

Doctors put her on dialysis due to reduced urine output on Monday. Her creatinine level and other parameters are within normal limits. She is responding to verbal commands, Shetty said.
