Woman batters youth to death in UP

A youth was reportedly battered to death by a woman at Kavi Nagar locality in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad town on the border of Delhi.

The killing came to light after a video showing the woman battering the youth went viral on some social networking sites.

The video shows the woman hitting a youth repeatedly with a stick. The youth, identified as Padam Singh, a resident of Badalpur village in the district, was seen trying to fend off the blows. 

Some neighbours were seen trying to persuade the woman to stop, but she continues. The youth goes limp after a few minutes, the video showed.

The youth was taken to a hospital, but succumbed to his injuries a little later, sources said. According to the police, the incident occurred around a week ago.
