Dhinakaran meets Sasikala in jail

Sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran met party leader V Sasikala with his supporters at the Central Prisons, Parappana Agrahara, for over an hour on Monday.

Dhinakaran was released on bail last week from Tihar jail in Delhi. He was arrested on April 25 by the Delhi Police Crime Branch on allegations of trying to bribe the Election Commission officials to get the “two leaves” symbol for his faction.

He reportedly discussed the latest developments in the party and the possibility of Rajanikanth’s entry into Tamil Nadu politics.
Meanwhile, Congress leader from Telangana Vijayashanthi also met Sasikala and discussed political issues.
The prison authorities clarified that there was no question of granting parole to Sasikala.
