A day after allotment of seats in the first round of CET counselling, the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (ComedK) has published the allotment of seats for the first round of counselling held by them.

ComedK has published the allotment for seats in engineering colleges in the state. This year, ComedK is conducting the process for 12,800 engineering seats in 146 private colleges.
After an initial mock allotment, students were given time till Monday morning to change their college and course preferences. Students have time until 11.30 am on June 29 to exercise one of the four choices. Choice one means that the student is satisfied and accepts the allotted seat. Choice two allows the candidate to hold on to the allotted seat while taking part in round two. With choice three, the student rejects the seat allotted in round one and takes part in round two. A candidate who exercises choice 4, rejects the allotted seat and exits the counselling process altogether.

Candidates who exercise choice one and two have to appear for document verification at NMKRV College for Women, Jayanagar, 3rd Block, from June 27 to 30. Students have to report at the venue to collect the token, according to the schedule provided on the website of ComedK. Students who exercise choice one have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs 50,000 online in order to block the allotted seat. Students who wish to hold on to the seats allotted in round one and take part in round two, also have to pay the fee.

The second round of seat allotment is expected to be held after July 10. Dr S Kumar, executive secretary of ComedK, said,”We are working alongside with Karnataka Examinations Authority to ensure that students have a chance to look at the seats allotted through CET before they make a decision.”
