Ola holds flashmobs to promote ride-sharing

For a city choked by traffic congestion, Bengaluru is yet to learn the basic lesson of optimum use of resources, whether it comes to public transport or private vehicles.

Cab aggregator Ola held flashmobs at the busy Silk Board Junction, infamous for its slow-moving traffic, to spread awareness on the importance of ride-sharing.

On Thursday, as the signal turned red at the Junction, Ola’s ride-sharing promoters stood in front of the vehicles stuck in the signal. As the drummers behind them started the rhythmic beat, the promoters danced around, smiling at the surprised commuters.
