Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday said that he would contest the coming Assembly elections from Chamundeshwari constituency in Mysuru district.

“The constituency gave me political rebirth. I was elected five times to the Assembly from Chamundeshwari. So, I will contest from that constituency again,” Siddaramaiah said. He presently represents the neighbouring Varuna constituency in the district. It is said that Siddaramaiah is planning to field his son Dr Yathindra from Varuna.
