JOIN USThere is festive atmosphere in the house of Indian cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy at Ambedkar Nagara in Kadur. She’s part of the cricket team representing India in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
Veda is the daughter of S G K Murthy from Kadur, who runs cable business. Veda is the youngest among four children.
“As she was keen interest in cricket from childhood, we have always supported her. Supporting her was one of the best decisions I have taken in my life. Through her, the whole world is looking at Kadur. This is one of the unforgettable decision in my life,” said Murthy.
However, the success hasn’t come easy to Veda. She had to move to Bengaluru from Kadur and spent time away from her family to pursue her passion.
Veda’s proud sister Vatsala said, “I used to accompany Veda. I have seen her working hard to reach this great height”.
