BIA signs pact on polyglot help kiosks

BIAL signed an agreement with Moveo Systems to set up easy-to-use interactive and intuitive touch panel kiosks at strategic locations across the airport by July, 2010.  BIAL, in a press release on Tuesday, said kiosk’s facility of issuing flight alerts via SMS will be useful for the frequent flyer.  It will provide information regarding various food and retail options, airlines, immigration, customs protocol, travel guidelines and other services. The kiosk provides both English and Kannada interfaces and is the first of its kind across airports in India, said a spokesperson from BIAL.

BIAL chief executive officer (CEO) Marcel Hungerbuehler and Moveo Systems Chairman Sankalp Saxena signed the agreement.
