Man booked for having sex with cow

In a shocking incident, a pervert with a criminal background had been caught at Kopergaon in Ahmednagar district for having sex with a cow.

The incident took place in Dhsamora village at Kopergaon taluka of Ahmednagar district, nearly 250 kms from Mumbai.

The suspect has been identified as Shravan More (35).

He is a history-sheeter and has been externed out of Nashik district.

"The suspect is a pervert and a tadipaar (a person who had been externed)...he is a criminal," inspector Nanda Galande said Deccan Herald.

She said that the suspect has been booked under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code. Inspector Sahebrao Kadnar is handling the investigations.

Galande said that a villager, Daulat Jagtap, noticed the act on a cow of Gir breed and lodged a complaint.

There were some protest by villagers - but after the arrest of the suspect, the crowd dispersed.

"The matter is very sensitive...We all know the incidents of cow vigilantism. It is being handled with extreme care," a Kopergaon police official said.
