JOIN USA 35-year-old woman and her teenage daughter committed suicide by hanging themselves from the ceiling of their house at Kumara Layout in Attibele on Thursday.
The police said Sindhu was married to Rajashekhar, manager of a garment factory in South Africa. The couple’s daughter, Deepthi (17), was a second year PU student.
Rajashekhar used to visit his family once in six months and the couple reportedly were incompatible. Sindhu was suffering from depression and was under treatment, said the police. On Thursday morning, neighbours found Sindhu and Deepthi’s bodies hanging from the ceiling, the police said. The Attibele police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies for postmortem. A case of unnatural death has been registered and investigation is on.
