JOIN USIn a sudden development, Mumbai North Central MP Poonam Mahajan met actor Rajinikanth, who is planning to take the political plunge.
Though Poonam did not attach any political reasons, the meeting assumed significance as it took place amid reports that Rajinikanth was planning to enter politics.
Poonam, who was in Chennai to participate in an agitation organised by the BJP, tweeted "One of the most humble couples I have ever met -- Lathaji and Thalaiva @superstarrajini ji".
Recently, BJP president Amit Shah also said that he would welcome Rajinikanth, but that the actor has to decide to enter politics.
Rajinikanth also admitted to discussing his political entry with other party leaders and well-wishers.
Scores of visitors, including political leaders, farmers and social activists, have been meeting the actor at his residence in Chennai, ever since he appealed to his fans to prepare for the 'war' (facing elections).
