San Francisco gets its tallest building

Last Updated 31 August 2017, 20:02 IST

If I were to tell you I’m writing about the “tallest building…” and then proceed to talk about a building that is 326 metres tall, you would probably scoff at me and rightly so. With the Burj in Dubai and Japan’s Sky tree straddling the 1,000 metres mark and the upcoming Jeddah Tower, which in 2020 will beat the 1,000 metres mark obviously this is nothing spectacular.

However, what makes San Francisco’s Salesforce Tower unique is that it is the tallest building in San Francisco, that’s right in the heart of the earthquake belt. Carefully woven into the urban fabric of San Francisco, Salesforce Tower will be the newest jewel in the skyline of San Francisco.

The building synergises the most cutting edge architectural achievements with state-of-the-art technology and engineering. Not only does it look stunning, Salesforce Tower is also a first-of-its-kind work space designed to promote good health and well-being.

This office tower puts everything an office worker needs within convenient reach. Do you want to network? Do you want to discuss a new project over dinner and drinks? Do you want to build new relationships with clients over coffee? All this and more can be achieved at over 21 restaurants in the vicinity.

Office buildings we know are among the largest, most complex machines on the planet. Salesforce Tower is no exception. It uses advancements in engineering and technology that allow the building to literally “breathe” fresh outside air. This is but one of the many innovative features that not only serves today’s workforce but the environment as well.
