Stones hurled at seer's car

At the literary meet convened on the second day of the  celebrations seer Siddalinga regretted the absence of the audience. The seer also questioned if the Shivayoga Mandir had catered to the other sub-sects of the Veerashaiva community except the Jangamas.

“Instead of spending the donation amount on conventions it should be used for the betterment of society and for the development of the mandir. Moreover, presidents of the Mahasabha and the mandir should  resign,” the seer said.

President of the Shivayoga Mandir Sanganabasava said that before making suggestions seer Siddalinga should talk about the development activities that he has undertaken, leading to an argument between them.

The head of theThontadarya mutt then walked out of the convention. In the ensuing confusion, stones were hurled at his car.  However, the police dispersed the crowd and escorted the seer.
