The deceased has been identified as Thenarasu of Tamil Nadu. Thenarasu had come to visit his relative Ayyavu who is working in Devarakadu estate.
A wild elephant attacked him while returning from Gonikoppa. Other two who were accompanying Thenarasu too have suffered injuries.
A case has been registered at Ponnampet police station. Sub Inspector Ramareddy, Thithimathi RFO Monnappa and others visited the spot.
