MS unveils new versions of .Net and Visual Studio


Microsoft also said it will announce the release of Silverlight 4 later this week.
Microsoft Corporation Senior Vice-President said, “Visual Studio is widely used developer tool in the world. The new version of Visual Studio would help in translating ideas into action. It would accelerate design and development process.”

The new applications can help developers to make advantage of the emerging platforms like cloud, he added.

The company said .Net Framework 4 offers more language support for high performance middle-tier applications including parallel programming, while features like new editor; a flexible feature-rich environment supports concepts of multiple monitors.
More than 50 partners have announced the availability of products and solution built on latest tools.
