JOIN USReports had suggested that the 78-year-old actress got engaged to her 49-year-old talent agent Jason Winters and was planning a wedding.
"The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren't true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart," Taylor wrote on her Twitter account.
Taylor's last marriage was with construction worker Larry Fortensky, whom she married at good friend Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in 1991, but the couple divorced five years later.
Her most famous marriage till date is with late actor and her 'Cleopatra' co-star Richard Burton, whom she famously married twice.
They first married in Montreal, Canada in March 1964 but divorced in June 1974. They walked down the aisle again sixteen months later only to get divorced again after just nine months.
Taylor's first husband was hotel heir Conrad 'Nicky' Hilton, the great-uncle of socialite sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton. She married him in 1050 and divorced him a year later to marry Essex-born actor Michael Wilding in 1952, with whom she had two sons, Michael and Christopher.
The 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof' star divorced Wilding in 1957 and two more husbands followed including Carrie Fisher's father Eddie who famously divorced actress Debbie Reynolds to marry Taylor.
