Traffic restrictions for Bengaluru Marathon

The traffic police will impose the following restrictions for the Bengaluru Marathon-2017 between 4 am and 11 am on Sunday:

n Traffic is banned between Hudson Circle and Siddalingaiah Circle on Kasturba Road; between Siddalingaiah Circle and Queen’s Circle; between Queen’s Circle and CTO Circle on Queen’s Road; Ambedkar Veedhi, Raj Bhavan Road, M G Road (north side) and all roads inside Cubbon Park.

n Vehicles from JC Road towards Vidhana Soudha, Shivajinagar and Raj Bhavan can use Police Corner, K G Road, Old Post Office, K R Circle and Ambedkar Veedhi.

n Vehicles from Sheshadri Road heading towards Shivajinagar can move on KR Circle and Ambedkar Veedhi.

n Vehicles from JC Road and Nrupatunga Road heading towards Old Madras Road, M G Road, Halasuru, Marathalli should take a right turn at Hudson Circle and move on to Devanga Hostel Road, Mission Road, Richmond Circle flyover, Residency Road and proceed further.

n Vehicles from Shivajinagar can move on Balekundri Circle, Cunningham Road, Chandrika Junction, LRDE Junction to join Basaveshwara Circle and proceed further.

n Vehicles from Basaveshwara Circle can move on TMC Junction, Infantry Road or take a left turn at CTO Junction to join Cubbon Road and proceed further.

n Vehicles from Balekundri Circle should turn left at traffic headquarters junction and move on Infantry Road or turn left at CTO Junction to join Cubbon Road and proceed further.

n Vehicles entering Cubbon Park from K R Circle can move on Nrupatunga Road.

n Vehicles from Halasuru should take a left turn at Cauvery Emporium and move on Brigade Road.

n Other vehicles from Halasuru should take a left turn at Trinity Circle and move on Richmond Road, Hosmat Junction,D’Souza junction and join Richmond Road.

n Vehicles from Ashok Nagar signal light and Cash Pharmacy will be restricted at Ashirvatham Circle. The vehicles can move on Opera Junction, Mayo Hall, Commissionerate Road, Garuda Mall, Hosmat Hospital and proceed further.

n Vehicles from Minerva Circle on J C Road and heading towards Shivajinagar, MG Road and Halasuru should turn right at Bharath Junction and move on H Siddaiah Road, Urvashi theatre, Kengal Hanumanthaiah Road, Richmond Circle, on Opera Junction, Mayo Hall, Commssionerate Road, Garuda Mall, Hosmat Hospital and proceed further.

n Vehicles from Lavanya and War Memorial should move towards Manipal Centre using Dobhighat.

n Heavy motor vehicles will be restricted at Anjaneyaswamy temple at Halsuru. The vehicles can move on Swamy Vivekananda Road, Trinity Circle, Richmond Road, Hosmat Junction, D’Souza Junction and Richmond Road.

Parking banned

n Parking is banned on Kasturba Road, Vittal Mallya Road, Raja Ramohan Roy Road, Queen’s Road, Ambedkar Veedhi, Raj Bhavan Road, roads within Cubbon Park, MG Road, Infantry Road. Parking is provided at UB City Mall and St Joseph’s School ground.

n For participants for marathon, parking facility is made at UB City parking lot and St Joseph Indian High School.
