A body of a man in his 50s has been flushed out from the Schuylkill River in the University City section of Philadelphia with a gunshot wound to his head.

The man has been identified as Philip Reitnour, a 58-year-old entrepreneur who founded the app 'EmergenSee', which allows people to live stream locations of emergencies to first responders, friends or family.

He was also featured on the ABC show 'Shark Tank', where entrepreneurs attempt to get investors, called 'Sharks', to board their projects in exchange for a stake in the company, but failed to get any of the 'Sharks' to bite his bait.

Philip was reportedly in a debt of US $3 million and was facing lawsuits.

Police are attempting to ascertain why and by whom Philip was killed.
