The exhibition will show 93 works drawn from the V&A’s collection by 33 Western artists depicting the architecture, landscape and people of India. The exhibition will be displayed chronologically in four parts.

‘Conolly’s Plot’
Galleryske is presenting View from Conolly’s Plot by Anup Mathew Thomas till April 23. His recent work draws on the cultural history of Kerala.

‘Irreverent Gene’
Crimson- The Art Resource is hosting an exhibition by nine young artists, most of whom are from Baroda and Delhi. The artists are Apurba Nandi, Alok Bal, Ashutosh Bhardwaj, Birendra Pani, Debraj Goswami, Heeral Trivedi, Prasanta Sahu, Pratul Dash and Rajiba Lochan Pani. Nalini S Malaviya has curated this exhibition which is titled Irreverent Gene. The exhibition will be held at Crimson, the Hatworks Boulevard on Cunningham Road, till May 15.

Silent discourse
Suman, a silent discourse with flowers, an exhibition of paintings by Poonam Kadam, is on at Gallery 2, Chitrakala Parishat till April 18, from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm.

Vision of Gustav
Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, in collaboration with the Visual Art Collective and 1 Shanti Road, will celebrate the vision of Gustav Hermann Krumbiegel, the German horticulturist, in a multimedia show curated by Suresh Jayaram, with contributions by Anuradha Mathur, Dilip da Cunha, Shamala B J, Suresh Kumar, Sunoj D, Madhu, Shantamani, Surekha and Ayisha Abraham. The show called Whatever he touched he adorned will be inaugurated on April 16 and will be on display at the Bhavan till April 30.

‘25 Canvases’
25 Canvases, an exhibition of paintings by the cadets of RMS, Bangalore, will be held from April 19 to 23 at Chitrakala Parishat.
The expo will be open for the public from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm.
