President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in Bengaluru on a two-day visit on Tuesday. It is his first visit to Karnataka after assuming office at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Soon after his arrival in Bengaluru by a special flight, Kovind will pay floral tributes to the founder of Bengaluru Kempegowda at N R Square (in front of BBMP main office) at 4.15 pm.
In the evening, he is scheduled to visit the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and also participate in a roundtable with scientists of the institute.
On Wednesday, the President will address the joint session of the state legislature to mark the diamond jubilee celebrations of Vidhana Soudha.
He will fly back to New Delhi the same afternoon.
