Change in restriction in temple visit time

Making little changes to earlier announcement on restrictions to public to visit Dharmasthala temple, a fresh press release stated that devotees will be allowed to visit the temple till 9 pm on October 28, and after 2 pm on October 29.

However, the entry to the temple for public will be restricted between 9 pm on October 28 to 2 pm on October 29, in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the temple.

Similarly, vehicular movement between Ujire and Dharmasthala will be allowed till 9 am on Sunday (October 29).

The entry will be restricted after 9 am till the Prime Minister leaves the venue. Meanwhile, those who are interested to take part in the convention at Ratnavarma Heggade stadium in Ujire are requested to be seated before 9.30 am on Sunday.

Security heightened

In the wake of Prime Minister’s visit, security arrangements have been beefed up in the entire Belthangady taluk.

As a few areas have been naxal affected in the taluk, the Anti Naxal Force has intensified its combing operations in the taluk.
