DKS, family told to appear before I-T sleuths

Income Tax department sleuths served separate notices on Energy Minister D K Shivakumar and other members of his family.

Notices have been issued to minister's wife Usha, mother Gouramma Kempegowda, daughter, sister and brother and MP D K Suresh directing them to appear for questioning on November 6.

The sleuths have directed them not to bring auditors with them.

The questioning will take place over searches and seizures at 60 places belonging to  the minister and his associates and associate firms in the first week of August.
