Kanakadasa's statue in front of Vidhana Soudha soon

Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya said on Monday that a statue of Kanakadasa would be installed in front of the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru.

Speaking at the Kanaka Jayanti programme in Chitradurga on Monday, the minister said that the proposal had been discussed with the chief minister.

He hoped that the statue would be unveiled during the tenure of the present Congress government.
