Life threat to Horatti

Member of Legislative Council Basavaraj Horatti has said that he has received life threat through an ananymous letter.

He said the letter, sent through post, has asked him to be alert, saying that a team of five members from Mumbai has come to Hubballi to murder him.

Horatti, who is also the president of Lingayat Swatantra Dharma Vedike, recalled that he had received life threat through an ananymous phone call a month ago, but he negleced it.

He said he has handed over the letter to police.

Police Commissioner M N Nagaraj said that the matter will be investigated.
