Tech park traffic hits our privacy: Shivarajkumar

Cine actor Shivarajkumar on Tuesday petitioned Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy seeking "a permanent solution" to the traffic gridlock at Manyata Tech Park.

The actor lives in an upscale enclave in the tech park premises. The residents of the enclave have blocked a thoroughfare as the movement of heavy traffic was affecting them, he said.

After his meeting with Reddy at Vidhana Soudha, Shivarajkumar told reporters, "We are now blocking a road in a small way, but we need a permanent solution because our privacy has been affected. If there are roadblocks everywhere, it will affect senior citizens and schoolchildren."

He said the home minister has assured him of convening a meeting of police officers soon to discuss the problem. "Our intention is not to disturb anyone, including employees who work in the tech park," the actor said.
