Urban Lads’, the band which became popular for its hip-hop Kanglish songs last year, is back again with another album Urban Lads – Reloaded.

The new Kannada rap album was released by actor Puneeth Rajkumar in a city hotel recently. After releasing the album and watching the video clippings for a while Puneeth Rajkumar expressed his happiness over the efforts of the band. “The team members have produced the album like true professionals. The singing zeal, making style, everything is nicely co-ordinated. The happiest thing is that they have remixed a song of  Appaji If you come today very well. The efforts and dedication of these youngsters should reach everyone,” he opined. And also he assured to buy first hundred CDs as a token of appreciation and encouragement.

Presented by Cinimage, an advertising agency, the album features six talented rappers namely Rakesh, Alok, Sumanth, Amith, Inchara and Prathula. Sameer Kulkarni has composed music for the lyrics written by Jayanth Kaykini and Vinay. The new album has six songs and two female singers have also sung in this album unlike the previous one.

Inchara is all praises for Sameer, who, she says has scored good music for the album. “All credit goes to Sameer who tuned all the songs very beautifully. The entire experience of making the album was really awesome and memorable. We got a huge support from family members. For a playback singer like me, it’s a one-of-a-kind exposure,” she said.

The band members performed a few songs from the album on the occasion. The band is also planning to fight against piracy with the slogan Be Original.

When the band’s first album Urban Lads was released last year, it created waves among the young college-goers and nearly 12,000 copies were sold out.
