Adjournment motion planned against minister
BJP MLA Govind Karjol sought to move an adjournment motion against Excise Minister R B Thimmapur for not inviting him to the inaugural event of a government project in his home constituency Mudhol. Bagalkot district.
As soon as the Assembly met on Monday, Karjol charged that Thimmapur, who is in charge of Bagalkot district, had not invited him for the inaugural of the project, with politically mala fide intentions. "This amounts to a breach of privilege. Thimmapur should be sacked from the ministry," he demanded.
Koliwad reserved his ruling on whether the privilege motion will be allowed or not.
