This classic is
one of my most favourite films. From the recent list of films, the one movie
that I really enjoyed after a long time was 'Piku'. It is relatable to everyone.
The subject of the movie was very unusual but more than that, I feel the
character played by Amitabh Bachchan was very endearing. I loved Deepika
Padukone too in the film. It was a very emotional yet very humourous film."
.
Actor
.
Robert De Niro
.
"My favourite actor when it comes to Hollywood films is Robert De Niro.
When I was in college I watched 'Taxi Driver' and it has stayed with me.
There are many fantastic actors like Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins who I
look up to. In Bollywood, it is definitely Dilip Kumar. He is such a rational
actor and many are inspired by him."
.
Travel
.
London
.
"One of my favourites has to be London. Be it the architecture, the language or the heritage, it symbolises what
the English culture stands for."
.
Inspiration
.
Mother Teresa
.
"Mother Teresa is an individual I look up to for the simple reason that she
was so apolitical and didn't have any wants and desires for herself. She was
selflessly dedicated to humanity. The person who has had the greatest
influence on me has been my father. "
.
Musician
.
A R Rahman
.
"A R Rahman is a maestro and a genius. I like his compositions a lot. The
sound of music that he has created and continues to create is so unusual.
The song 'Tu hi re' is one of my all-time favourites."
.
Cuisine
.
Butter chicken
.
"Home food is something that I enjoy thoroughly. 'Chawal-dal' is what tops
my list. This apart, I also like butter chicken. The tangy taste of the chicken
gravy is just delicious. I grew up having the butter chicken of Pandara Road
and of Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi. I have had the best butter chicken in
these two places."
