JOIN USMinister for Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fisheries Pramod Madhwaraj said that General Thimmayya National Academy of Adventure will organise adventure festival in Udupi.
He addressed the preparatory meeting on Udupi parba and Udupi adventure festival. The estimated cost of the adventure festival is Rs 60 lakh.
The minister said that Udupi Parba and Udupi adventure festival will be organised for three days from December 29. The General Thimmayya National Academy Of Adventure will organise national-level swimming in the sea, speed wall climbing, marathon, cycling, skateboarding and other adventure sports.
To introduce traditional coastal cuisine, there will be food stalls at the Udupi Parba. An attractive fireworks display will be held on the concluding day.
He said that the Udupi parba and adventure festival is being organised to promote tourism in the district. Sub-committees have been constituted for the success of the programme.
