TMC leader's killers nabbed in UP

The Anti-Terrorist Squad of the Uttar Pradesh Police arrested seven persons wanted in connection with the killing of Trinamool Congress leader Manoj Upadhyaya.

An ATS team nabbed the suspects from a hotel in Varanasi.

A source said that Upadhyaya was returning home when he was sprayed with bullets by two motorbike-borne assailants at Bhadreshwar in West Bengal last week.

He was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead. The TMC leaders had blamed the BJP for the murder.
