Government LED digital hoarding inaugurated

The first government LED digital hoarding to create awareness among the general public on various welfare schemes of the government was inaugurated in front of the DC's office gate in Mangaluru on Tuesday. The hoarding has been installed by the Department of Information and Public Relation.

District-In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai inaugurated the digital LED hoarding. This is the first government digital hoarding in the state.

Information Officer Khader Shah said that such digital hoardings will come up at 10 district headquarters. It will be maintained on PPP mode. All the details in the hoarding are maintained by the information department, Bengaluru. The digital hoarding will be maintained by Jhenkara Advertisers, Bengaluru. The total cost of the digital LED hoarding is Rs 32 lakh.

The digital hoarding will display information daily from 10 am to 9 pm. It will consume 30 units of power every day with continuous internet connection.

Information on various schemes of the state government such as Anna Bhagya, Kshera Bhagya, Krishi Bhagya, Vidyasiri will be provided to the public. Information of all the government schemes will be displayed from time to time. Information on important programmes in the district will also be displayed.
