Clad in a cream saree and wearing the crown, she went around the ground floor of the Hyderabad International Convention Centre where many conferences were taking place and also on the first floor, where offices for many foreign delegations were set up.

Speaking at a brief interaction, Manushi said: "Everybody can make a difference in their own small way. For example, you can make a difference with a simple smile."

Talking about her pet project on creating awareness about usage of sanitary napkins among young women in the country, she said becoming a doctor continues to be her target.

Manushi said a lot of awareness needs to be created among people over health issues.

Asked about her dreams, she said, "Every woman would dream to be happy. I dream to be happy."

Earlier, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Manushi received a rousing welcome from passengers and the airport staff.

She arrived by Air India flight 542 from Delhi around 12.20 pm and was accompanied by Julia Evelyn Morley, the chairwoman of the Miss World Organisation which conducts the annual Miss World and bi-annual Mister World competitions.
